This one’s a collaboration with our friends at Big Tide in Saint John. We wanted to give it a biscuit-y malt character with toffee undertones. Totally. Nailed. It. The English hops we used were perfect, but it came out darker than we meant it to be. Dark beers are awesome though, so we’re all good.
Our Warmer is a Crosby Molasses-infused strong ale brewed with rye and molasses. Obviously seasonal, so it’s pretty much the only reason we’re looking forward to winter this year. It’s got a peppery rye character, blanketed with a subtle molasses undertone. Sounds fancy, right? Just wait until we start talking about its rich mahogany colour.
This one’s seasonal, but its namesake is our fave local bartender/amateur carpenter/social philanthropist. It’s light-bodied with loads of tropical fruit notes, like mango and passion fruit.
